Based on comprehensive analysis of the basic materials of archaeological sites in Western Siberia at the turn of the Bronze and Iron Ages in the article puts forward the idea of industrial specialization of individual settlements in the particular type of activity, reflected in obtaining a particular type of product in excess of the needs of the township.
