The use of thrombolytic therapy in ischemic stroke helps to reduce oxidative stress and is associated with favorable changes in the structure of cell membranes. Established biomarkers of adverse prognosis in the thrombolytic therapy: Increased levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9, high sensitivity C-reactive protein of the blood plasma.
