The article presents the results of monitoring of vaccine preparations used in the Russian Federation for the specific prevention of mastitis in cows. It has been established that mono- and associated vaccines such as Startvak, Mastivak, UBAC, J-Vak, Vakolin are used for these purposes. Most of them contain inactivated antigens of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Klebsiella pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumonia. The vaccine is used in disadvantaged farms for prevention, reducing the incidence of mastitis in cows, as well as improving the quality of milk by reducing somatic cells in it. In vaccinated animals, immunity occurs one month after the second vaccination and lasts up to about 6 months.
