An article deal with a specifics of the British news television discourse as object of the linguistic analysis. A methodological basis of research – a communicative discoursive paradigm. Author analyzes extralinguistic, genre, national and cultural, gender and linguistic components of a television news discourse. Material of research are news telecasts of BBC World News.
