The specificity of lobbies and lobbytic activities in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the fundamental problems, peculiarities and constraints of the development of lobbyism in the Russian Federation. The author conducts a historical digression during the period of the emergence and development of lobbyism as a political phenomenon, considers the lobbying structure in the US and Russia, performing a comparative analysis of the purposes of lobbying organizations in the designated countries. Also, the work describes legislative acts and documents regulating lobbying activities in the country, analyzes the specifics and key problems in this area.
