Specificity of the youth audience of museums - analysis of motivational components

At present, the study of the motivation for visiting regional historical and local history museums by young audience in modern conditions is one of the priority tasks for the formation of regional identity and patriotic youth. With the change in the political and economic situation in the country and in the world, as well as with the attempt to isolate the Russian Federation from the outside, simultaneously with the dissemination of false and negative information about Russian history, the state and society as a whole by various communication means, it is necessary to pay more attention to the state youth policy. Young people are active participants in online interaction, and the information they receive from various social networks often distorts spiritual and moral values, the idea of national history, replacing real heroes with comic book heroes, demonstrating various deviations as the norm of life. Museums are one of the important social institutions that can consolidate young people on the basis of the idea of love for the Motherland, for their history, the preservation of all-Russian traditions and careful attitude to the environment. These institutions, having a powerful educational resource, play a significant role in cultural and educational activities. Regional museums broadcast the inclusion of local history and cultural heritage in the all-Russian context, and central museums introduce museum audience not only to Russian history, culture, nature, achievements of science and technology, but also to global masterpieces of tangible and intangible heritage. Museums are able to broadcast the idea of an all-Russian identity and patriotism. The implementation of this mission by these institutions is not only an important state order, but also, in general, is a response to the all-Russian public demand.
