The specifics of moral problems of research and interventions in human genetics

The article provides an analysis of the existing ethical and legal norms of regulation of human genetic modification. The possibility of protecting human nature or the desire to improve it, dictated by subjective reasons, to become a limitation or catalyst for the development of new scientific directions that come into conflict with traditional moral and ethical ideas about the limits of scientific experiments are discussed.
