The publication presents the results of the study of aspects associated with psychophysiological changes in old and senile age. The key specific aspects of the studied transformations among the population of the declared age are presented and the possibilities of managing destructive psychological, physiological, and social processes through social and medical support are reflected. a study of the level of formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of social and medical workers of social service centers for the population of Moscow on the specifics of psychophysiological changes in old and senile age was carried out, based on the results of which it was concluded that there are systemic gaps that require urgent elimination.
