Specifity of speech manipulation in modern English-language internet advertising (on the example of YouTube advertising videoclips)

The article discusses the specifics of speech manipulations used in Internet advertising. A set of cognitive-oriented interpretation methods including lexico-semantic, contextual-interpretive, discursive analysis was used for analyzing language units at the lexical, syntactic, phonetic, morphological levels. A linguistic analysis of a representative sample of actual study material consisting of 100 advertising English-language videos on the You Tube portal was carried out. The findings are useful in research practice, both in the field of linguistic research and in a number of related sciences.
