Peculiarities of primary school English teacher training by means of folklore

The article considers folklore as a reflection of cultural and national peculiarity of native speaker's mentality. The language is seen in its informative and emotional intensity. Phonetic, technical, lexical, and geographical approaches to folklore material are disclosed. The article also deals with the main approaches to the language material selection such as empirical, linguistic, and pragmatic.
