Specifics of the current migration situation in the European Union

Sustainable demographic imbalances in the European region could be partly compensated by means of external migration but such policy can carry some risks. The article includes detailed analysis of dynamics, structure and size of the international migration flows to the European Union during the last two decades that allows predicting and estimating potential hazards and possibilities of this phenomenon.
