According to the WHO definition, physical activity is any movement of the body produced by skeletal muscles that requires the expenditure of energy. Both moderate and vigorous physical activity promote health. The term "physical activity" refers to any type of movement. Popular physical activities include walking, cycling, roller skating, sports, outdoor activities and games suitable for all ability levels and entertaining for all.
