The article reveals the problematic issues of athlete's health care, which have long gone beyond simple traumatology. Attention is focused on the complex interplay of medical and legal aspects in modern sports medicine. It examines in detail how doctors, coaches, and sports organizations should act within the legal framework, ensuring not only effective rehabilitation and injury prevention, but also minimizing occupational risks. Special attention is paid to issues of ethics, informed consent, and responsibility when working with high workloads. It has been proven that an athlete's return to full exercise after an injury is not just a medical task, but a complex, multi–level process fraught with serious risks if approached incorrectly. In practice, doctors and coaches face a whole range of problems: from insidious relapses due to hasty progress to psychological barriers and legal conflicts related to admission to training. It is concluded that the integration of medical knowledge into the training process is not just a recommendation, but a mandatory requirement of modern professional sports.
