The article presents the results of theoretical studies of sports talent as a psychological phenomenon, as well as an attempt to study the problems of organization support of sports talented children (for example, younger students involved in playing sports) for the purpose of developing and approbation of the psychological support model. The most important features of such children on the basis of which can be built a whole system of psychological support is the tendency to exploratory behavior or exploratory activity.
