Sports management: problems and prospects of managerial personnel training for physical education and sports sphere

The article deals with the current problems of sports management development in Russia as of 2022. It emphasizes the need to adjust the system of training in the sphere of physical education and sports management. The author also proposes: 1) legislate imperative sets of requirements for managers of physical training and sports organizations; 2) accelerate the integration of physical training and sports managers into profile digital management systems; 3) unify training programs for physical education and sports managers; 4) form effective career guidance systems to identify applicants capable of becoming effective managers in physical training and sports; 5) develop basis of the system of succession of managerial personnel in physical training and sports; 6) develop measures for the primary employment of graduates of specialized specialties in the organizations of physical training and sports orientation; 7) to develop mechanisms and a model for the subsequent management of the system of physical training and sports organizations, structures and events, combining commercial and free of charge areas of physical training and sports services.
