Sports journalism as a profession through the perception of a student of journalism

The paper aimed to determine whether students from different higher education institutions have different opinions about sports journalism. Therefore, the perception of the future profession was researched in the paper, and students of basic academic studies of journalism participated in the research. Respondents answered four groups of questions, of which the Likert scale was applied in the first three, while in the fourth battery students answered the question arbitrarily. It was confirmed that students from different higher education institutions mostly share identical opinions and point out potentially low salaries and lack of free time due to the volume of work as a lack of future occupation.
