Prosthetic treatment of patients with counter defects of dentition

The basic concept of functional occlusion that sets a correlation between the anatomy of occlusal surface of dentition, anatomy of a temporo-mandibular joint, position of teeth in occlusion, muscular-articular apparatus underlies an adequate construction of protetic plane with consideration of the asymmetries of the bilateral structure of dentognathic system of patients. The authors propose a method of definition of protetics plane during prosthetic treatment of patients with counter defects of dentition (I class Kennedy) using teleradiography.
