A method of differentiation of growing areas of sunflower hybrids adapted to low-yielding and high-yielding conditions

Ecological trials of 13 simple sunflower hybrids was conducted in 17 locations in 2009, in 18 locations - in 2010 and in 2011 in 22 locations of different European parts of Russia. The descriptions of a length of planting-flowering period of each hybrid have been compared with their average yield estimations per location separately for each year and with regression coefficients of the same hybrids yield estimation per the environment indexes. It was found out that even minor genotypic differences in the length of growth period influence the sunflower hybrids adaptation to particular types of agroecological conditions. Hybrid differences in a stability degree of regression coefficients of yield estimation per the environment indexes were discovered in the meteorologically different years. 4 types of sunflower hybrid different in reaction on agroecological conditions of conducted trials were identified. Graphoanalytical method of differentiation of growing areas of sunflower hybrids adapted to low-yielding and high-yielding conditions was suggested.
