This scientific research article reveals the issues of improving the methods and methods of development, increasing the strength indicators of cadets and trainees studying in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Exercises that best contribute to improving the level of relative and absolute physical strength are considered. The goal of developing and improving strength indicators is to overcome various physical loads faced by cadets and trainees not only in their professional activities, but also in everyday life. With the help of the development of strength endurance, a person can perform energy - consuming technical actions for a long time, such as carrying heavy objects, working with a weight exceeding his own, as well as performing exercises for a certain time with weights. In this regard, when conducting physical training classes, a set of circular exercises was introduced - crossfit, in which tasks were performed, both with their own weight and with weights.
