The article presents the analysis of formation and development of the source-term culture by self-education. Rapid changes in the economic and social structures, dictate a new and living standards of continuous education. A person's ability to self-education, manifests itself in the dissatisfaction, the realization of imperfection of the present situation of educational process and strem-commitment to growth and self-improvement. Possession of skills of independent work, gives the opportunity to prepare and go to a higher cultural level, affects the quality of learning of value orientations and allows faster to achieve the us-Pecha in the process of socialization.
