Ways of disposal of the exclusive right to musical works

This article examines the problems existing in the legislation of the Russian Federation arising due to the rapid pace of technological progress and globalization, especially related to the regulation of public relations on the use of digital musical works as objects of intellectual property. Solutions to existing problems are proposed by expanding and specifying the essential terms of the license agreement on granting the right to use a musical work, while the main ways of disposing of the exclusive right are the agreement on alienation of the exclusive right to a musical work and the license agreement, but perhaps soon a "global license" will join them.
