The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. One of the key problems in developing competencies of a modern employee is heterogeneity of training groups. Heterogeneity of training participants is when within one training group there are participants with different levels of mastery of tools on the topic of training, some of the participants are completely unfamiliar with the concepts being studied, some have superficial and unsupported knowledge, and some already know all the basic tools and are waiting for more advanced knowledge and other differences. Often such heterogeneity is caused by various reasons: from the lack of point tools for diagnosing employee competencies to the actual impossibility to staff a training group with participants of the same level. The relevance of the chosen topic is conditioned by the fact that most customers of corporate training and corporate personnel development departments (training departments, corporate universities, T&D and L&D specialists) are interested in maximizing the effectiveness of training. Often applied short-term goals are achieved in corporate training, which require certain knowledge and competencies at the level of their confident and effective use. Their absence or insufficient development has a direct impact on the performance of a particular unit and the organization as a whole. The goal of the research is to study ways to improve the results of corporate training in conditions of heterogeneous training groups. Achieving this goal will make it possible to achieve training goals more effectively, increase the comfort level for each participant of the training and act as an important aspect in the methodology of training corporate business trainers. Methodology (materials and methods). The research is based on domestic scientific developments in the field of corporate education. This study is based on a comprehensive analysis of the practices used by leading business trainers of the LTC training company (Moscow). The description of the results is presented through the enumeration of tools that give positive effects in the corporate training format in heterogeneous groups. In the course of the research, it became obvious that corporate training should be based on a differentiated approach, and should be based on the principles of humanistic pedagogy and psychology. The quality of staff training is impossible without relying on fundamental knowledge. The scientific novelty lies in structuring the key reasons for the heterogeneity of study groups in a corporate format. The practical significance is expressed in the possibility of forming unified tools that increase the effectiveness of corporate training in heterogeneous groups. The key result of subsequent scientific work in this area should be to improve the quality of the corporate learning process. The results of this study are discussed as part of a training course on the basics of training work at the Department of Humanities and Psychological and Pedagogical Disciplines at the Moscow State University.
