Ways of self-identification of students: a sociological analysis

This article presents the results of an empirical study of student self-identification. The theoretical basis of the phenomenon of self-identification was analyzed. The author considers self-identification at the subject-object level, therefore, divides the structure of the university into macro- (university), meso- (institute/faculty) and micro-levels (department, group). In addition, based on this graduation, 4 ways of self-identification of students within the educational institution were identified.
