The article shows the basic rule of electrical safety, the principle of which can be realized when constructing three levels of protection, namely: the main one, protection in case of insulation damage, additional. It is indicated that the basic protection is determined by the use of measures against direct contact of a person with live parts; protection in case of insulation damage is provided by automatic shutdown; additional protection is provided when using residual current devices. In networks with deadly grounded neutral, the cause of electrotraumatic damage is the presence of voltage on exposed conductive parts; therefore, all electrical receivers must be grounded by connecting to a PEN or PE conductor, depending on the power supply system, namely: TN-C, TN-S, TN-CS. The analysis of safety systems in networks of various modifications and schemes of inclusion of protective shutdown devices was carried out in order to ensure maximum electrical protective efficiency and a significant reduction in the danger of electroporation in the operation of electrical installations, including non-stationary ones, used in various conditions.
