Methods of managing public debt

The article deals with theoretical aspects of public debt. The analysis of the internal and external public debt of the Republic of Belarus, as well as sources of its repayment, is conducted. The main theoretical approaches to the management of public debt are considered. The degree of burden on the budget associated with the costs of servicing the public debt has been revealed. The main measures aimed at optimizing the state debt of the Republic of Belarus are determined.
