Fair remuneration of labor: problems and directions of improvement in modern Russia

In Russia, as in many countries of the world, the problem of fair wages is relevant, in this regard, the article presents the results of a study of the dynamics of nominal and real wages in the Russian Federation, wages in the context of various industries based on the analysis of statistical information materials. The legislation of the Russian Federation establishes minimum wage rates, however, fair remuneration, its definition and achievement is the most important systemic task today for all spheres of the functioning of the economy. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors influencing the dynamics of wages and directions for improving the efficiency of the wage system. The purpose of wages is to ensure the possibility of reproduction of the labor force and the formation of decent conditions and living standards of the working population. The organization of remuneration determines the degree of interest of the employee, his motivation to work, which, in turn, directly affects the productivity of the employee and the quality of the products (services) produced by him. The growth of labor productivity and the improvement of the welfare of the population are priority tasks that require increased attention, since they determine the general psychological mood of society and its dynamic development. In this regard, it is important to properly organize fair remuneration of employees in order to achieve the goals of each employee and the organization as a whole. Among the problems actively discussed by the economic community in the field of remuneration, there are identified, firstly, a rather serious spread in the amount of wages in different regions, industries, and even by positions of one organization; secondly, in general, the wage level is not high enough, determined by the values of the minimum wage.
