Fair principle of justice as a social problem of Russian society

The views of Russian citizens on the judicial system are one of the indicators of establishing the institution of the judiciary as the main accessible mechanism of legal protection in the country. Over the last 25 years, serious changes have taken place in the judicial system of the Russian Federation. They demonstrate the positive trends in the implementation of the fair principle of justice. Despite this fact, the recent jurisprudence shows the growing number of citizens' complaints against judges who violate the law in their opinion. At the present stage of the Russian justice development, there is much concern about its fairness. Both ordinary citizens and legal entities regularly face this problem. Based on the empirical materials, case law and opinions of the professional community, the research examines the attitude to and the implementation practice of the fair principle of justice in Russian society.
