The influence of the size of the Langmuir probe insulator on the results of measurements of the plasma potential, electric field, mean energy and electron concentration in a helium discharge supported by a hollow cathode is studied. The measurements were carried out with a moving probe with spatial resolution. It has been established that the influence differs for different plasma parameters and depends on the localization of the probe in the cathode-anode space.
