Comparative characteristic of methodical approaches to the analysis of the business activity of the enterprise

The article discusses the methodological approaches to the analysis of business activity, goals, objectives of analysis and selection of indicators. The modern view of the researchers of this problem and their relationship with the classical school of business activity analysis are critically evaluated. The problems in the proposed approaches are identified, similar positions are highlighted, and the author's proposals can significantly complement the analytical tools for assessing business activity. The final inequalities allowing to control the level of business activity in relation to different types of assets and advanced capital are offered.
