Oil-degrading properties of commercial biodestractor «Fyre-Zyme» produced by Ecology Technologies International Inc. (USA) and i?/iO(^ococcMj-surfactant based biopreparation developed in Alkanotrophic Microorganism Laboratory of the Institute of Ecology and Genetics of Microorganisms Urals Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences were studied in model soil experiment. It was shown that «Fyre-Zyme» used in recommended concentration (6,0 wt. %) only insignificantly (by 10% compared to control) accelerated crude oil biodegradation process in a soil system. iJ^ot^ococcftj-surfactant based biopreparation provided effective (70%) oil degradation in soil and thus it can be successfully used for remediation and restoration of oil-contaminated lands in Urals Region.
