The aim is to identify the level of antibodies to native and denatured DNA and their comparative characteristics in schizophrenic patients with tardive dyskinesia and multiple sclerosis. The study included 75 patients with schizophrenia and 65 patients with multiple sclerosis. There was an increase in level of antibodies in schizophrenic patients and patients with multiple sclerosis as compared with healthy individuals. More substantial changes were observed in patients with multiple sclerosis: 67 % of patients have an increase in level of antibodies to singlestranded DNA, 56 % - to native DNA. A level of antibody in patients with drug-induced movement disorders did not differ from the level in patients without tardive dyskinesia.
