Comparative characteristics of temporary memory indices in gymnasium pupils of Tyumen city

The article is devoted to the actual topic - psychophysiological features of memory in adolescents studying in gymnasiums of Tyumen. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by contradictory tendencies: on the one hand - increased educational loads, which presuppose mastering, memorization and comprehension of large amounts of information, which implies the formation of thought operations and types of thinking; on the other hand - practically unlimited access to any information, thanks to the possibilities of the Internet, which cancels the necessity to memorize large arrays of data. The research of the features of short-term and long-term visual, auditory and figurative memory in adolescents studying in the gymnasium allowed us to establish that in all the surveyed the figurative memory, the formation of which occurs earlier in ontogenesis, is developed according to the age. At the same time, a low level of verbal short-term visual and auditory memory volume indicators was noted. All types of memory in girls are developed statistically reliably higher than in boys.
