Comparative efficacy of medical treatment in patients with voiding dysfunction after operation due to benign prostatic hyperplasia

We present the results of medical therapy of post-operative overactive bladder symptoms in 76 patients who underwent the operation for benign prostatic hyperplasia. The first signs of bladder dysfunction were urgency, urinary incontinence and were found in patients mean in 1.5 months after operation. Urodynamic studies showed the presence of overactive bladder in patients.
