Comparative efficiency of soil and foliar application of sugar beet additional fertilizing in the Central Black-Earth region

The most effective way of fertilizer application during sugar beet vegetation was placement of nitroammophoska N27P5K5+S with backgrounds of N45P45K45 and N90P90K90 basic application that ensured 7.9-14.4 ton/hectare gain of beet roots. Foliar application of fertilizers was less effective. Treatment with polychelate together with Bor-Aktiv ensured obtaining of additional 4.5-5.5 ton/hectare of beet roots, and use of urea provided 2.4-3.2 ton/hectare gain, accordingly.
