Comparative evaluation of sunflower hybrid triumph adaptability

Earlier developed nonparametric method was used for single cross hybrid Triumph adaptability characterization. Method is based on comparison of regression parameters of studying genotype yield values on other varieties and hybrids ones, obtained from several year trials in different regions. Ability of hybrid Triumph for the most efficient utilization of poor environments in comparison with each of ten cultivars is determined. At the same time Hybrid Triumph shows sufficiently high for early maturity group genotype productivity potential in favorable environments. These peculiarities provide high stability of its yield values in wide cultivated condition range and superiority over other varieties and hybrids in limited conditions.
