Comparative evaluation of the sorption properties of bentonite powder and nanosized bentonite in vivo

The article presents data on the structure of bentonite powder and nanosized bentonite, shows the size and shape of the particles, physical and sorption properties. Studies were performed on the nonlinear white mice. Comparative evaluation of the sorption properties in vivo showed a better performance in nano-bentonite. It is established that the application of nano-bentonite with feed contaminated with salts of heavy metals decreases in the liver, kidney, muscle tissue cadmium content in 45-89%, lead 43-95% and nickel 43-78%. The use of bentonite powder in the diet of mice reduces the amount of cadmium on 29-45%, lead - 14-63%, nickel - by 43-57%.
