Comparative assessment of potato species in the Vologda region conditions

The comparative assessment of various potato species efficiency in the Vologda region conditions showed that the Inspiration specie provides the productivity at the level of 43,2 t/hectare. The greatest starch content is accumulated by tubers of “Nikulinsky” specie – 16,3%. By the general assessment of specie the best on economic and valuable signs grades are Lugovskoy, Elizabeth and Inspiration.
