Comparative productivity of oilseed brassica crops in forest-steppe of the Average Volga region

In 2013-2015 in the Volga region NII the assessment of nonconventional oilseeds in non-irrigated conditions of the Samara region was carried out. In the study were included different types of non-traditional oilseeds, operate not only in the area of the Middle Volga region, but also in many regions of the country: winter rape, spring rape, mustard, oil radish. One of the most productive on green mass of non-traditional oilseed crops were radish oil. Under favorable weather conditions, it formed up to 53 t / ha of green mass. All studied cultures are valuable sources of vegetable protein. During the years of study, the yield of protein per unit area was in the range of 0.46-0.59 t / ha.The studied cultures are a source of valuable vegetable oil, which can be used for both technical and food purposes. On average, in 2013-2015, the largest yield of oil per 1 hectare of sowing was provided by spring rape-0.61 t/ha, the smallest - white mustard - 0.35 t / ha.
