Comparative legal analysis of ensuring the safety of participants of criminal proceedings under the laws of Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic

Introduction: the article provides a comparative legal analysis of esuring security of participants in criminal proceedings under the legislation of Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic. Materials and Methods: the methodological base of the study consisted of methods of synthesis, comparative analysis, academic knowledge, logical, comparative legal, and other private methods of research of legal phenomena. Result: the article provided a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic on state protection and security of participants in criminal proceedings, substantiates the arguments of the advantages of certain aspects of legal regulation and the practice of their application. Discussion and Conclusions: based on the research, the author concludes, on the one hand, about the similarity of the norms of the studied legislation of Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic, on the other - about the features characteristic of each of these countries, suggests ways to improve Russian legislation in ensuring the safety of participants in criminal proceedings.
