Comparative Legal Analysis of Criminal Legislation Regulating Responsibility for the Creation and Operation of Destructive Organizations: Using the Example of the Russian Federation, the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Foreign Countries

The present study is a comparative analysis of legal norms aimed at countering the formation and activity of destructive associations. This analysis includes a thorough comparison of regulatory legal acts regulating the criminalization of such acts and the establishment of sanctions in the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Russian Federation), the member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (hereinafter referred to as the CIS) and a number of foreign countries. In the course of the research, general trends, national peculiarities and shortcomings of legal regulation are identified, as well as recommendations for improving the current criminal legislation of Russia in this area are formulated.
