Comparative results of treating adrenal gland tumours using different surgical techniques

This works presents generalized treating experience of 290 cases of adrenal glands neoplastic disease using different surgical technique. Results compare has been done in three groups of patients. Among them 163 patients were operated by traditional routes, 118 by using short-scar-incision, 9 - by laparoscopy. The main criteria of surgical aggression were operative approach size, operation length, blood loss, intensity of pain syndrome and blood volume breakdown, complication percentage. The best results reached in group of patients that were operated by using short-scar-incision technique, which unites advantages of minimally invasive interferences and traditional surgical approaches.
