The paper presents the results of a study of the developed adaptive automatic control system for the natural gas air-cooling unit. The structure of the adaptive system of automatic control of the natural gas air-cooling unit is given. A comparative analysis of the dynamic characteristics of a single-loop and adaptive automatic control systems for the natural gas air-cooling unit has been performed. Based on the results of the computer experiment, the robust properties of the adaptive control system were evaluated. The curves of transient processes are calculated for variations in the parameters of the control object. The sensitivity analysis of the adaptive and single-loop automatic control systems for the natural gas air-cooling unit has been carried out.
