Sepsis is the most common cause of acute renal failure in severe disease patients. Methods of renal replacement therapy, used in intensive care, do not yet have a large evidence base, there are no final recommendations on the choice of method, volume and speed of the procedure. In a comparative study, it was found that the use of fast-flowing hemodiafiltration of sepsis-induced renal failure is more effective to reduce urea and creatinine compared with low-flow hemodialysis, both methods effectively cope with fluid removal, but do not lead to significant normalization of hepatic aminotransferases.
