The article analyzes contemporary approaches to teaching technical drawing in high school under the conditions of digital transformation of education. It is noted that while traditional methods based on manual graphic skills retain educational value, they become less effective without the integration of digital tools. Particular attention is given to the comparison of traditional and digital teaching methods and the potential for their integration. The didactic benefits of CAD systems, 3D modeling, virtual and augmented reality technologies are highlighted. The author emphasizes the importance of developing students’ digital literacy and engineering thinking, as well as the role of blended and hybrid learning formats. Pedagogical strategies aimed at enhancing project-based learning, critical thinking, and professional orientation are presented. The article substantiates the need for a systematic approach to modernizing the technical drawing curriculum by rethinking its content, updating teaching methods, and building an adaptive learning environment.
