Abstruct: Environmental legislation is a set of laws that regulate relations forming the subject of environmental law (nature management, environmental protection, environmental safety). The fundamental document in the field of environmental safety is the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 30, 1995. In accordance with Art. 31 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The state sets the goal of protecting the environment favorable to human life and health." According to the clause of this article, “concealment by officials of facts and circumstances threatening the life and health of people entails liability in accordance with the law.”
