Comparative analysis of state migration policy concepts of the Russian Federation for the period 2012-2025 and 2019-2025

One of the most important conditions for the effective economic development is its sufficient supply of human capital. Due to the lack of their own labor resources, many states (including Russia) are developing the most effective mechanisms for attracting, selecting and registering foreign migrants, which could contribute to the economic and demographic development of the country. This article presents an analysis of the concepts of the state migration policy of the Russian Federation for the periods 2012-2025 and 2019-2025. A comparative description of these concepts is given, as well as potential problems of the migration development of the Russian Federation in the near future are voiced.
