Comparative analysis of constitutional bases in the local self-government of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus

This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the foundations of local self-government in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The authors tried to highlight the similar and different features of the two systems of self-government, the problems of their formation and scope, as well as features. The article also discusses the importance of having constitutional foundations and a system of local self-government, indicating their features.
