The scientific article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the methods of accounting and financial approaches to decision-making in a corporation. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the result of business activities depends on the correctness and effectiveness of management decisions. The article examines the theoretical foundations of the accounting and financial approaches, and conducts a comparative analysis. The role of accounting and financial analysis in management and decision-making by management in a corporation is analyzed. As part of the study, the author concludes that both approaches have their strengths and weaknesses, the best option for a corporation is to use a combined approach.
