In this article the methods of personal management in Russia and in Japan are considered, the factors determining the national specifics of these methods are given. Also, a comparative analysis of the methods of personal management and recommendations for its improvement in Russia made by borrowing certain features of personal management in Japan, as the Japanese personal management system of the organization has proved itself in the ability to make the most efficient use of labor resources.
