Material is presented on the development and comparison of model characteristics of fulfilling the standards of the Federal Standard of Sports Training for the sport “ski racing” in groups of trainees at the stage of higher sportsmanship and at the educational and training stage of 3-4 years of preparation. Anonymized data obtained using the automated information system “My Sport” from 68 organizations from 26 constituent entities of the Russian Federation that implement additional education programs in the sport “ski racing” are presented. The results of pedagogical testing on the implementation of the standards of the Federal Standard of Sports Training for the sport “ski racing” are shown in terms of general and special physical training of cross-country skiers training in groups of highest sports skills. It is concluded that to achieve the maximum possible result at the stage of highest sports mastery and reach this level of preparedness, ski racers aged 15-16 years have an average of 10 years. The model indicators presented in the work can be used to design the growth trajectory of the parameters of physical and technical-tactical readiness of young cross-country skiers, as well as to develop and adjust training programs used in the system of training sports reserves in cross-country skiing.
